This is a typical image when placing a card on a table with the light source overhead. It's a great image in terms of focus (having the card on a table gives stability) and the card fills the viewport just right - but the user and the iPhone cast shadows on the card.
Update: we have been working on a solution to this issue for a while and are happy to report it's ready!. As of Version 2.70, shadows are no longer a problem and we moved this image from the Scanning Failures section to the Good Images section (although calling this image 'good' is a bit of a stretch!).
